Warm ACM Greetings, ACM-Association for Computing Machinery, is the world's largest educational and scientific computing society, brings together computing educators, researchers and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources and address the field's challenges. KCT ACM STUDENT CHAPTER, started to combine young minds together and strive towards the goal in Technical as well as non-Technical. Dr. Alamelu, HoD IT & Faculty Coordinator KCT ACM STUDENT CHAPTER delivered the welcome address. Dr. Jayant Haritsa, President ACM India Council, delivered the chief guest address and gave a brief introduction about the ACM and its benefits. The office bearer’s introduction and projects undertaken are explained by ACM members to the audience.

A coding event for enthusiastic coding freaks to bring the interest of coding among the students. This coding event is to be conducted on HackerRank platform and has 2 round. Each round consists of 3 questions. Those who tops the leaderboard will be shortlisted to the round -2 (final round) of coder of the week. Top 2 performer will get prizes.

This talk session gives a brief idea on what is Build to Learn and its benefits. It highlights the importance of practical learning. The founder of Build to Learn, Mr. DURAI THODLA has interact with the participants, give more innovative ideas and ignite their minds. Build to Learn is an initiative by a group of volunteers to help people learn programming by building useful micro-products. It is important to take atleast simple notes, use technology to remember things easily and think of few ideas by surfing interesting website by using conceptual understanding method, without just studying for marks.
